Summary

About the Job

Games Workshop has a new and exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing H&S team as a H&S Advisor. If you are someone looking to join a new team and make a difference, we invite you to read on.

Our Manufacturing goal is to make the right products in the right volumes at the right time, to the agreed standard and in the most efficient and sustainable manner. And of course, we want to do this whilst ensuring that our staff and operations are safe and fully compliant.

As a Manufacturing H&S Advisor, you will work closely with designated departments to ensure we identify and implement safe systems of work that comply with internal and external policies and legislation. You will be recognised as the H&S subject matter expert for the departments you are assigned, making you the first point of contact for all H&S risks, concerns and improvement opportunities.

You will provide your designated departments with accurate and timely H&S data and support, ensuring full adherence to agreed goals and service level agreements (SLA's). You will also provide quality and impactful H&S training on topics assigned to you by your Manager.

Working closely with the Central H&S team, you will review all H&S audits, ensuring that clear action plans are created and worked on with departmental managers. You will clearly communicate progress against audit action plans and escalate issues as appropriate so they are addressed swiftly.

Having previous experience of working in a H&S role in an Manufacturing, Logistics or Operational environment, you will have an understanding of relevant regulations (e.g. COSHH, PUWER). You will also have experience of working with 3rd party contractors.

If you are able to nurture and promote a positive H&S culture, and collaborate with multiple managers to deliver change, this could well be the job for you.

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
