Summary

HRGO are looking for a Driver for our client based in Sandycroft, you will be responsible for driving a company van and helping in the warehouse when required. This is a temp-perm position.

Job Title: Driver

Hours : Mon - 7:30am - 4:00pm

Tues - Fri - 7:30am - 3:30pm

Location : Sandycroft

Pay : £12.21

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence

Key responsibilities
- Safely drive company van, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Perform daily van checks and report any defects or maintenance needs
- Collect, transport and deliver goods to specified locations
- Load and unload items, ensuring correct handling and secure stowage
- Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts and paperwork
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Plan efficient routes using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Skills and experience required
- Full UK driving licence required
- No more than 6 points
- Proven reliability, punctuality and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and carry goods safely (manual handling experience preferred)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone, GPS and digital delivery systems
