Summary
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Driver / General Yard Operative to join our client’s team on a permanent basis near Framlingham.
Working for a small, friendly family run engineering company this is a varied role combining driving duties with general engineering and yard support work. If you enjoy a hands-on role with a mix of driving and yard-based tasks, this could be ideal for you.
The Role:
• Driving a 3.5-ton long wheelbase vehicle (standard UK driving licence suitable)
• Completing local deliveries
• Assisting with general engineering and yard duties when not driving
• Supporting with loading/unloading
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Candidate Requirements:
• Applicants must have a full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Previous delivery/yard experience preferred
• Forklift Truck Licence advantageous but not essential
• Applicants must be reliable, proactive and willing to support across departments
