Production Supervisor
* BSW DALBEATTIE, DG5 4PL
* ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN (DAYS 6AM-3PM/NIGHTS 8PM-5AM)
* 42.5HRS/WEEK
* FULL TIME/PERMANENT
As a Production Supervisor you will take a hands-on approach, working alongside and leading a dedicated team of operators and team
leaders working on a shift rota. You will be responsible for key site-based production activities, including the effective
planning of schedules to ensure we meet customer demand.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Production Supervisor include:
* Hands on leadership of production teams to produce and deliver high-quality products to set standards.
* Gauge and monitor product quality to specified standards, carrying out and recording dimensional checks of all production lines
running on shift.
* Monitor machine settings, optimising performance and carry out tool changes on machines to meet production demands.
* Identify any faults in mechanical/electrical deviations or failings in product quality, rectifying where possible or reporting
to the relevant departments.
* Uphold rigorous Health & Safety standards, ensuring employees are working safely, in a clean and hazard free environment &
enforcing the correct use of PPE.
* Continuous development of team members in line with training plans.
About you:
Already an experienced leader within a manufacturing environment, we are looking for a motivated and organised individual with
proven people management skills. In addition, you’ll have:
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft products.
* High influencing and interpersonal skills.
* A firm commitment to continuous improvement.
