Summary

Job Title: Contracts Administrator

Type of Business: Public Sector

Location: Remote role, with occasional travel to Nottingham office

Salary: £29,900 (pro rata)

Contract: 6 months - 37.5/week

GI Group are now seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator for our Public Sector client.

The Contracts Administrator will support effective contract management and compliance. This role focuses on accurate data capture, maintaining contract registers, and assisting with public contract notices.

DUTIES:

· Capture and input contract management data using relevant systems.

· Ensure compliance with local contract management policies.

· Maintain awareness of contract management best practices; knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 is desirable but not essential.

· Work with contract management systems to monitor and record contract activity.

· Utilise advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and maintaining contract registers.

· Record published notices in Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service, ensuring awards are accurately reflected locally.

· Assist with publishing notices in Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service as required.

PERSON SPECIFICIATION:

· GCSE's (including Maths and English) or equivalent.

· A-levels, BTEC or a relevant professional qualification (CIPS Certificate in Procure and Supply (is advantageous).

· Previous experience in contract administration, procurement, or a similar administrative role.

· Expertise in data capture, entry, and management.

· Strong working knowledge of advanced Excel functions.

· Experience with contract management systems and maintain contract registers (desirable).

· Familiarity with publishing notices on Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service (desirable).

· Experience working independently, delivering accurate work with attention to detail.
