About this opportunity

We're seeking an Artificial Intelligence Manager on an 18 month fixed term contract to turn strategy into action, building, delivering, embedding, and deploying AI solutions across Group Corporate Affairs (GCA).

Working with the AI Lead, you'll be responsible for the management of AI projects, agent deployment, and the day-to-day adoption of automation and intelligent workflows, as well as the hands-on build of prototypes and solutions for simpler use cases. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Engineering Platforms and Marketing teams, and work closely with colleagues within Corporate Affairs in digital, operations and communications roles to ensure AI delivers measurable value and is embedded in how we work.

As the first role of its kind in the function, this role combines a number of skills to help us evolve and accelerate progress!

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the automation journey for GCA, focusing on the practical implementation of agents, agentic AI, and PowerApps to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

  • Build and test solutions: Use your technical skills and curiosity to develop, build, test, and refine AI tools, especially in platforms like Co Pilot Studio and Power Automate.

  • Partner across squads, teams, and Centres of Excellence, working with Platform, Engineering, Operations, and Communications colleagues to deliver AI-enabled solutions that meet real business needs.

  • Drive adoption and embedding: Support teams to integrate AI into daily workflows, providing hands-on guidance, solve problems, and coaching to build AI confidence.

  • Governance and agent management: Ensure all AI deployments follow governance frameworks, ethical standards, and data privacy requirements. Oversee the lifecycle of AI agents, including monitoring, performance, and retirement.

  • Continuous improvement: Gather user insights and operational data to drive continued optimisation of AI solutions. Share best-in-class guidelines and findings with the wider team.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

What You'll Be Doing:

Build and Deployment

  • Run the end-to-end delivery of AI and automation projects, from triaging and scoping through to rollout and optimisation.

  • Coordinate cross-team squads, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and timelines.

  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI agents and automation tools within GCA.

Adoption & Embedding

  • Support teams to embed AI solutions into daily workflows, providing hands-on guidance, problem-solving, and coaching.

  • Identify adoption barriers, gathering feedback and iterating solutions.

  • Track usage and adoption metrics, reporting progress and outcomes to the AI Lead and stakeholders.

Education & Upskilling

  • Deliver practical training, drop-in sessions, and resources to build AI confidence and capability at all levels.

  • Act as a visible advocate for responsible AI use, sharing success stories and lessons learned.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all AI deployments align with agreed governance frameworks, ethical standards, and data privacy requirements.

  • Monitor agent performance, manage risks and incidents, and raise issues as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of AI tools, agents, and their operational status.

Continuous Improvement

  • Gather insights from users and stakeholders to drive ongoing optimisation of AI solutions.

  • Share guidelines, findings, and recommendations across Group Corporate Affairs.

  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in AI adoption.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience delivering technology, automation, or AI projects in a complex organisation.

  • Bring specialist technical expertise in agentic AI and automation, delivering solutions that address capability gaps within GCA

  • Hands-on technical skills, with the ability (or curiosity and drive) to build and prototype solutions in platforms like Copilot Studio, PowerApps, or similar.

  • Proven project management skills, with a track record of delivering to time, cost, and quality.

  • Confident facilitator and trainer, able to build capability and engagement across diverse teams.

  • Strong collaborator and communication skills.

  • Analytical and solutions-focused, comfortable using data to inform decisions and measure impact.

  • Experience in communications, HR, or business transformation is desirable.
