Summary
Data and Information Apprentice
We are currently looking for a Data and Information Apprentice to join Sovini, part of The Sovini Group.

This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 19 months.
What You’ll Do: Job duties
Support the GDI lead in ensuring compliance with all aspects of UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and Data Protection principles and Information Security best practice.
Under direction of the GDI lead, support with investigations into data breaches of policy and/or procedures, undertaking remedial actions as required, recording all incidents and recommendations and communicating with appropriate stakeholders and relevant authorities.
Maintaining appropriate data protection registers and processing activities.
Assisting the GDI lead and other IT Group Assurance staff in conducting regular security audits, assessing risk and documenting any appropriate remedial actions.
Work alongside the GDI lead by working with and processing information sharing agreements and Data Protection Impact Assessments for third party organisations and the groups service areas.
Adhere with section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
Develop the Sovini Group’s commitment to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all works undertaken.
