Summary

You will support the induction, education and development of others, support quality improvement, taking responsibility for defined projects and appropriately delegate work to, and supervise the work of, Occupational Therapists, Support Workers, Students and Volunteers as required. You will require effective communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills, with enthusiasm and passion for this specialist field. You will provide clinical support and guidance to OT support workers and OT students. Duties will include being a mentor and assessor for theAgoredsupport worker diploma, and provision of regular, formal staff supervision. You willbe supportedthrough regular, planned supervision, annual professional appraisal reviews and continued professional development opportunities.MHOccupational Therapists have access to clinical practice meetings and opportunities to engage inMastersstudy in subjects relevant to practice area. In line with service requirements, provide occupational therapy at the timerequiredto meet peoples needs. This may involveparticipatingin service provision across 24 hours/7 days a week.
