Summary
Recruitment, training and management of volunteers.
- processing volunteer applications, DBS checks, references etc.
- providing in house training induction training for new volunteers
- ensuring all volunteers feel supported with regular engagement/communications
- keeping volunteer records up to date on the in house system
- Gathering exit data and anonymous equalities monitoring data
- identify, engage with and work closely with the Management team to recruit to match the volunteer requirement
Your Profile
We are looking for a passionate individual with lots of good ideas.
You will be a good communicator (both verbal and written) with the ability to interact appropriately with different audiences. You will need to be confident speaking to groups, for example, when delivering training.
You will be a strong team player able to work with all the different activity streams within the charity.
We work with many different types of people so an understanding of reasonable adjustments and working with people with access needs would also be advantageous.
Key Skills
Essential
• Computer Literate (as long as you are confident using a computer we can train you in our systems)
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Ability to travel to the Centre
Microsoft office
• Google Suite
Desirable
• Previous volunteer management experience
• Previous experience delivering training to individuals or small groups
