Summary
School Cleaner – Dudley
Part-time | Permanent | All year round (52 weeks per year)
Working Hours: 2.30pm-5.45pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, wiping down surfaces, emptying bins, and deep cleaning across all areas of the school (classrooms, communal areas, and toilets).
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Report any issues, damage, or maintenance needs to the site team.
• Take responsibility for Health and Safety, adhering to site rules and regulations.
• Monitor and replenish consumable stock as needed.
Experience / Qualifications
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Good working knowledge of Health and Safety is essential.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable.
Skills / Personal Qualities
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• High attention to detail; accurate and methodical in your work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
