Job description
A fantastic opportunity has become available at Incy Wincy's Day Nursery in Bedale (links to North Allerton), North Yorkshire. They are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their setting, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development.
Duties Will include
Caring for children
Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
Supporting children's play and learning
Supporting children's development
Adhere to all safeguarding practices
Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning
As an apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Apprenticeship, this will involve a Regional Trainer visiting you once a month in the workplace from an award winning training provider.
To become an apprentice, you must:
be 16 or over
not already be in full-time education
As an apprentice you’ll:
complete a L2 - L3 early years apprenticeship standard
have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
learn and train for a specific job
get paid and receive holiday leave
get hands-on experience in a real job
study for at least 20% of your working hours
complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
be on a career path with lots of future potential

At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent education level. For example, if you complete a level 3 apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent of an A level.
