Summary

Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging
School of Healthcare Sciences

Due to the maternity leave of the current post holder, Cardiff University, College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, School of Healthcare Sciences are seeking a full-time Lecturer to join the Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging team.

In this role, you will be supported to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the development of our education programmes. You will support students to develop key skills at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate levels and may include visits to students placed in clinical areas. The successful candidate will pursue excellence in teaching and scholarship or research.

We are looking for someone with a passion for student-focused, innovative teaching. You should be well-organised, collaborative, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree at PhD level in a related subject or possess relevant clinical expertise. Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential. An enhanced criminal records declaration will be required.

This post is offered at Grade 6 or Grade 7, is full-time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term until the 26th March 2027. The post is based at Heath Park.

£41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6) or
£51,753 - £56,535 per annum (Grade 7)
