Summary
Job Description:
The Branch Support role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch activities. You will assist the Branch Manager in all internal operations of the regional branch covering admin and warehouse to ensure the branch runs efficiently and to Group standards.
Our family friendly hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm with 1/2 an hour each day for lunch.
Responsibilities
To professionally and promptly serve customers on our trade counter, including all paperwork and taking correct payment.
Picking and packing customers orders, ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed fully and accurately.
Accepting deliveries from our suppliers, checking goods against paperwork and putting the stock away in the correct location.
Answering the telephone in a professional manner and taking customer orders either by telephone or email.
Reviewing stock levels on the computer system in accordance with Group policies and placing replenishment orders with suppliers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations and support daily activities.
General office and warehouse support to be provided to the Branch Manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office environment is an advantage.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage.
Clear and concise communication.
Proactive and organised
Able to lift heavy & awkward loads safely.
Experience in Microsoft applications.
