Vacancy – Fabricator
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Fabricator to join their successful engineering team. Successful candidate will be able to fabricate structures to high tolerances.
Main Duties:
• Creating bespoke metal fabrication working with stainless steel pipework, metal fencing, supports and bracketry, storage tanks and railings
• Working from engineering drawings
• MIG/TIG welding where appropriate
• Quality inspecting own work
• To maintain shop, equipment, tools etc working closely with Welders
• Adhere to health and safety procedures
• Meet agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ, SSiP and EN 1090/ISO 9001 requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Person Specification:
• Fabricating and welding experience with MIG and TIG desirable.
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel and brass advantageous
• Experienced in a production environment.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and written/verbal instructions;
• Eligible to work in UK
