We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our friendly team. This role can be offered as one full time position or two part time roles.

Key Responsibilities
• Dispensing a full range of spectacles
• Frame adjustments and minor repairs
• Contact lens tuition and aftercare
• Processing NHS claims
• Reception duties and general administration
• Creating attractive window displays
• Supporting social media promotion for the practice
• Providing warm, professional customer service

About You
• Previous experience as an Optical Assistant (essential)
• Confident in dispensing, adjustments, and repairs
• Experience with contact lens teaching
• Familiarity with NHS claims processes
• Strong communication and customer care skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to work well in a small team
• Creative flair for visual displays
• Comfortable using social media for business promotion
