Summary
Do you enjoy leading teams to make a real difference in people’s lives?
Working closely with the Service Manager to lead and support a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
To provide day-to-day leadership ensuring safe, effective and empowering support. This includes overseeing team performance, embedding compassionate and strengths-based practice, and ensuring full compliance with organisational policies, safeguarding requirements, and all relevant regulatory and contractual standards.
At times, you may be required to deputise for the Service Manager to maintain continuity of service delivery.
Who we’re looking for:
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail
• Experience of leading, supervising and managing employees, students or volunteers
• Experience of building and maintaining positive partnerships with external organisations (e.g. voluntary and statutory agencies).
• Experience of property maintenance/void turnaround/health and safety checks
