ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.

Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 27‑year‑old woman living in the Llandaff area of Cardiff. I am a wheelchair user and can independently operate my chair outdoors; the only support I require is manual handling to load and unload the wheelchair from the car. I enjoy an active lifestyle—I volunteer in a local charity shop at the weekend and regularly attend theatres, musical shows, and other entertainment venues. I have a strong passion for making the most of life, and I value support that enables me to do so safely, confidently, and independently. Seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Female assistant.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Providing one‑to‑one support during a variety of social and leisure outings. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys social activities, values person‑centred support, and wishes to make a positive difference while being part of a supportive team.
PLACE OF WORK
My Home
HOURS OF WORK
5 hours a week primarily during evenings and /or weekends, flexibility required, times to be discussed at interview.
RATE OF PAY
£14.00 an hour
TASKS INVOLVED
Assisting me in accessing the community to places of my choice
Accompany me to Theatre Shows, Musical and other entertainments venues.
Any other Social or leisure activities of my choice
To support me to enable me to make the most of life independently safely and confidently
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Reliable and enthusiastic female Personal Assistant to join a small, established team of two others supporting myself out and about in the community.
Able to keep confidentiality.
Patient ,respectful, and supportive of an active lifestyle.

Car Driver is essential must have business class 1 Insurance
Clean Driving Licence
Manual Handling preferably required ,if not free training can be provided.

Patient, respectful, and supportive of an active life style.
Desirable Qualities
Similar Leisure interests.
Previous experience in a personal assistant or care related role
