Support Worker Wanted – North Shields (Newcastle FC fan welcome!)
Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Hours: 16 hours per week (including weekends)
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Are you caring, reliable and up for a role that actually makes someone’s day? We’re looking for a Support Worker to help a lovely lady in North Shields with her daily routine and to get out into the community.
About the role
You’ll be helping with everyday activities such as:
Getting up in the morning
Supporting with admin tasks
Assistance with toileting and showering
Helping with an ankle brace and getting dressed
Making breakfast
Light housework
Supporting community access — appointments, shopping, local trips
And yes… you’ll probably be the person she cheers on Newcastle United with!
Who would be a great fit?
We’re looking for someone who:
Is reliable, caring and motivated
Doesn’t mind a chat about Newcastle FC (bonus if you’re a fan!)
Has access to a car — the lady uses a manual wheelchair
Enjoys helping people stay independent and positive
Can work 16 hours per week, including weekends
