Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for our students and staff.

You will also support with internal catering, stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness, kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards across all area.

Responsibilities of this role include;

To work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient business operations
Offer a friendly welcoming face during food service in the box Office or Campus Kitchen
Communicate with chefs regarding allergen and ingredient information prior to food service.
To ensure displays are full and well presented at all times ensuring efficient stock rotation
What we are looking for;

Experience of working in a café or other commercial catering outlet
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised, calm, with great interpersonal skills
Possess a positive can-do attitude to work
This role is a term time only role working 36 weeks throughout the year and follows FE/HE term times which you can find here Term Dates.
