The Practice

The practice has grown from strength to strength, offering a bustling GP caseload and the opportunity to work alongside a senior vet with a passion for surgery. This role is perfect for an RVN who excels at multitasking and effective communication, as the practice spans over two floors—consider your daily steps sorted!
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a branch RVN, you'll be integral to maintaining high standards of nursing care and ensuring the comfort and welfare of all pets. Your duties will include:
- Assisting veterinary surgeons in theatre and during consultations
- Maintaining comprehensive patient hospitalisation records
- Ensuring equipment is cleaned, packed, sterilised, and stored correctly
- Managing stocks of drugs, diets, and consumables
- Supporting student nurses as a clinical supervisor
- Providing friendly and efficient reception duties
You'll be fully supported by a senior vet, associate vet, senior RVN, trainee nurses, and a fantastic regional manager. Plus, there's no on-call requirement, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
