Summary
Trailblazer Manager
Fixed Term contract or secondment opportunity – for 1 Year (funded post)
Central London Forward (CLF) is a partnership of the 12 central London local authorities. We work together with our member authorities and with other stakeholders to support inclusive and sustainable growth in central London; so that our economy thrives, and our residents benefit from the opportunities this creates. CLF manages large-scale employment and skills programmes in central London to help our residents access decent work.
We are seeking a passionate person with project management experience to lead on the delivery of the Central London Forward Youth Guarantee Trailblazer. Funded by the Department for Work & Pensions and managed by GLA, the Trailblazer is going to be delivered by our 12 central London borough partners. This innovative programme will focus on young people with experience of the care system and NEETS who live in Central London. The programme aims to provide bespoke support which is tailored to these young people’s individual needs.
This exciting and varied role will be responsible for working with borough partners to maximise the number of young people we can support and progress into good work, placement opportunities or training. The over arching aim of the programme will be to work towards real system change and identify direction for future funding. On a day-to-day basis, this role will be responsible for monitoring outputs, working with colleagues to find solutions to problems, ensuring effective budget management and managing our reporting to our funders and partner organisations
Experience of working with young people on employment programmes would be beneficial. Knowledge of central London boroughs and existing employability and/or young people’s services would be desirable.
We would welcome applications from individuals with a background in youth support services.
