Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: £48,000 per annum + excellent benefits
We’re recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role sits within a well-established and reputable organisation, offering strong operational support and a genuine commitment to high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
- Lead and develop high-quality, therapeutic residential services for young people
- Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, OFSTED, and relevant legislation
- Provide empathetic, reflective, and dynamic leadership, promoting strong relationships with young people, families, and professionals
- Embed attachment-based, trauma-informed practice across care, recording, and daily routines
- Build, support, and develop a resilient staff team, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and vicarious trauma awareness
- Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and performance, ensuring high standards and accountability
- Manage rotas, on-call arrangements, health & safety, budgets, and operational resources effectively
- Lead delivery of the Integrated Therapeutic Plan, working closely with the Therapeutic Care Manager and attending key child assessments.
Essential Requirements: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Residential Children’s Social Care
- At least 1 year in a management or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Level 5 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS and strong references
