What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential
- Good honours degree or equivalent and qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 for a suitable candidate)
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating successful lessons (if applying as an ECT, this would be demonstrable in ITT placements)
- Personal commitment to professional development
- Ability to work co-operatively with others
- Ability to use ICT for at least one (and preferably both) of teaching and administrative work
- Understanding of and support for the school’s Christian ethos (whatever the candidate’s own personal beliefs)
Preferable
-Potential to contribute towards the school’s extra-curricular programme
