Summary
My client is a Leading National Civil Engineering Company.
They are presently looking to appoint, on a permanent basis, a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work in their Southeastern Region which covers the Counties of Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Kent and East & West Sussex.
They specialise in the following sectors;
- Major Highways
- Development Infrastructure
- Bridges and other large Structures
- Water & Wastewater
- Marine & Coastal
- Groundworks
- Piling & Foundations
- Reservoirs
Duties include:
- Setting out roads, earthworks, and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
- Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
- Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
- Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
- Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
- Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
- Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
- Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
