Hours of work: 25 Hours Per Week (Can be worked over 4 days or 5 days)

We are looking to recruit an Auditor to join our well established team in Whitehaven to audit National Major Construction Projects. The position is office based and duties will be carried out from our Whitehaven office. This is a 6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Main Responsibilities will include:
*Audit performance and pay levels to ensure uniform application of the Working Rule Agreement pay and conditions throughout the project to achieve a stable industrial relations environment. Working Rule Agreements will include National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI), Civil Industry Joint Council (CIJC), plus other WRA's and client specific agreements as required.

*Identify and discuss any discrepancies found in the reports with contractors and ensure they are followed up and corrected.

*Interrogate client timesheets on a weekly basis and maintain a database of employees with regards to their working hours, pay grade and trade etc to formulate periodic audit reports.

*Produce and publish periodic audit reports within the timeframe detailed by the client

*Undertake special exercises and examinations on behalf of the client, these can include audit trending, analysis of productive performance-based schemes and ad-hoc reports.

Experience/Qualifications:
*You must be able to prioritise workloads and work independently
*You must have excellent attention to detail
*You must have strong analytical and numeracy skills
*Knowledge of regulations and guidelines - training will be provided if needed - Desirable
*Previous experience of the audit cycle - training will be provided if needed - Desirable
