City College Peterborough is seeking a Multi-Skilled Business and IT Tutor to join our Study Skills Department. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
Due to increased demand, this role will involve planning and delivering both Business and IT programmes across a range of levels, while embedding English and Maths into teaching and learning. You will work collaboratively with lecturers and support staff to raise learner attainment and promote social inclusion, confidence, and independence in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Are you able to build positive, effective relationships with young people?

Would you thrive in a role where no two days are the same?
You will support learners within the Business and IT vocational areas of the college, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of support to access the curriculum, participate fully in learning, and fulfil their potential.
A flexible approach to learning support, and the ability to handle situations with tact, empathy, and professionalism. Experience working with learners with SEND is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Business and IT
Ability to teach multiple topics if required
Establish effective working relationships with young people
Monitor, support and record learner progress including updating ProMonitor
Provide innovative and stimulating training
Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
All positions are working with 14-24 year old Learners
