TeacherActive is working alongside a warm and welcoming private day nursery in Stamford, looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant setting caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you can truly make a difference every single day.

✨ The Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated early years team


  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery


  • Ensure high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework


  • Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external professionals


  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for all children


    ✨ What We’re Looking For:

    • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years / Childcare


    • Proven experience working in a private nursery setting (essential)


    • Previous leadership or management experience within Early Years


    • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery policies


    • A positive, “can-do” attitude with a passion for helping children thrive


    • Adaptability, organisation, and great communication skills
