Investment in Professional Growth & Development

Fully funded NPQs and other leadership and teaching qualifications

Distributed, delegated and ethical leadership model with the opportunity to achieve professional growth
A fair pay policy ensuring non-performance-related pay progression

A Focus on Wellbeing & Workload Reduction

No out-of-hours parent communication
Flexible PPA arrangements, including the option to complete PPA at home
Creative use of tech to reduce workload and improve teaching outcomes (1:1 devices for pupils, latest teaching software, encourage ethical/safe use of AI)

As a HLTA at Brooklands, the successful candidate will:

Be a role model for the school’s values of Perseverance, Respect, Friendship and Honesty
Lead whole-class teaching confidently during PPA, leadership time, short-term absence or planned cover
Plan, prepare and adapt learning activities to meet lesson objectives and pupil needs
Assess pupils’ understanding during lessons and provide clear feedback to support progress
Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions that show measurable impact on outcomes
