Job Purpose

Plan and coordinate the execution and production of Instore Customer facing promotional material for Superdrug both in the UK and Eire


Key Responsibilities:


Create best in class instore marketing plans that attract and retain customers, driving conversion
Collaborate, coordinate and challenge Commercial and Own Brand teams, suppliers & agencies to prepare promotional material to drive sales.
Manage the day-to-day production of point of sale through external agencies and suppliers
Ensure key strategic promotions are effectively & consistently communicated throughout the store.
Have an eye for detail and what’s right for the customer
Produce and communicate inspiring and engaging briefs to studio art workers and relevant agencies & suppliers.
Deliver accuracy in all in-store customer communication
Continually seek to identify solutions and processes that drive improvement and efficiency.
Coordinate the event distribution of all point of sale material from creator to stores.
Build and maintain good working relationships with Store Support, Commercial, Suppliers, Agencies.

Manage agreed budgets and timescales both in the planning and reporting. Ability to confidently negotiate costs with suppliers and track savings

Undertake various administrative tasks for the role and where required to support others within the marketing team.

Undertake projects as and when required.

Person Specification


Marketing degree or equivalent experience in a role.
Experience working in a fast paced; Marketing/operational/visual merchandiser or POS agency environment with via a retailer or supplier
Instore Marketing Point of Sale/Fixtures (this is not a digital Marketing role)
Ideally previous people management experience or a natural aptitude to nurture and develop others
An understanding of marketing retail principles
Confident energetic approach
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent ability to work to deadline and prioritise workload
Strong organisation skills
Able to work on own initiative
Problem Solver
Flexible and adaptable to change
Basic finance skills
Excellent PC skills
