Summary
Participate in personal development planning and access training as appropriate or deemed necessary/ mandatory by the hospital to improve service provision. Demonstrate a high standard of clinical skills, including a broad understanding of changing health care services and provision within the private sector. Initially assess clients needs to rule out life threatening injury or condition followed by a holistic approach to assessment of the needs of the client including presenting complaint. Clinical examination as requested by the doctor or on initial own undertaking of appropriate systems. e.g. musculoskeletal. In partnership with the doctor and patient devise and carry out appropriate treatment. Ensure a safe discharge, or provide all necessary paperwork and investigation results for a smooth referral or admission to hospital. Support Casualty First manager by participating in team building and development. Share in the efficient running of the department. Document an accurate and methodical account of the clients journey and use departmental electronic records resources appropriately.
