Summary

KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026, with potential to continue into September

Leaders work collaboratively with teachers to uphold high standards, ensuring pupils feel safe, motivated, and confident in their learning. Duties as KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the full curriculum
  • Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and wider subject skills
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of SEN learners
  • Maintain a calm and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Provide ongoing assessment and clear verbal feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent planning and teaching
  • Support whole‑class, small‑group, and individual learning activities
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil well‑being

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong KS2 experience
  • Confident teaching pupils with SEND and adaptable to mixed‑ability groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and support pupils of differing abilities
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities
  • Proactive, reflective, and committed to high‑quality teaching
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
