We’re looking for forward-thinking and proactive individuals to join our Apprenticeship programme to become a Chartered Surveyor
in our Infrastructure Asset management team based in Birmingham and help grow our ever-expanding teams throughout Carter Jonas.
This apprenticeship programme provides a fantastic opportunity to gain a bachelor’s degree with one of our trusted providers,
while working towards your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Over five years, you’ll split your time between studying and hands-on work. You’ll receive 7.5 hours of dedicated study time each
week (equivalent to one day), with the remaining four days spent contributing to exciting, real-world projects as part of your
day-to-day tasks. Alternatively, you could be attending block week study dependent on your chosen university. In your third year,
you’ll join our APC Training Academy with the aim of qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor by the end of the programme.

Main tasks

* Visiting a range of properties and land to complete annual inspections visits, check-ins and check-out appointments.
* Undertake viewings and prepare residential properties for marketing.
* To administer the management of let residential properties to include efficient and correct handling of problems raising during
tenancy and managing repairs.
* Overseeing rent reviews and lease renewals.
* Identify and recommend need for property updates and refurbishment, to include the management of refurbishment projects on both
tenanted and void residential assets.
* Support the excellent reputation of Carter Jonas by providing high level of efficiency and customer service to tenants,
contractors and clients.

What will it take to be successful?

If you are looking to pursue a career in Infrastructure, we will support you through your L6 Apprenticeship - Chartered Surveyor,
Land and Resources Pathway at one of our partnered universities across the UK. Entry Requirements are as follows; 3 A levels at
BCC or higher, or the equivalent in UCAS points. You must also have achieved a grade 4 in English Language, Maths and Science. We
are looking for good, clear communication skills with a commitment and determination to learn. Please apply including a covering
