We’re Hiring: Phase Leader (KS1/KS2)

Are you a passionate and experienced teacher looking to take the next step in your career? Link 3 Recruitment is supporting a fantastic school in Leicester to recruit a Phase Leader to lead and inspire a key stage team. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.

About the Role:
As a Phase Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience for your key stage. You’ll lead a team of teachers and support staff, driving high standards, curriculum development, and exceptional outcomes for students. This is a leadership position that combines teaching with strategic responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a phase team (KS1 or KS2) ensuring high-quality teaching and learning


  • Plan, implement, and monitor the curriculum within your phase


  • Support, mentor, and develop teaching staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth


  • Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to raise achievement


  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment


  • Work closely with school leadership to contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives


  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required


    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Proven classroom experience with strong teaching skills


    • Experience in a leadership or middle-management role (preferred)


    • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment processes


    • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills


    • A passion for student achievement and staff development
