Summary
The Role
My client based to the North of Cambridge has a permanent requirement for a Warehouse Supervisor. You will be overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and leading a small team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
• Implement and enforce warehouse procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail
• Counterbalance Forklift certification preferred but not essential
