Olsen Renewables is wholly owned by Bonheur ASA listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our Crystal Rig site team with the addition of two Wind Turbine Technicians. These roles will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of our turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.ResponsibilitiesCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing on multi-brand wind turbines to maximise performance, minimise downtime, and complete all required documentation.Perform corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs across turbine systems including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components, ensuring accurate completion of associated documentation.Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying reasons for equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.Proactively complete repairs or arrange component replacements to prevent full system failure or extended downtime, ensuring maximum turbine availability.Work collaboratively with team members to improve turbine efficiency and reliability.Provide out-of-hours and weekend support for turbine breakdowns in line with the on-call schedule.Comply strictly with all health and safety regulations, including WTSR requirements.Maintain accurate records of timesheets, expenses and maintenance work, including tasks completed, parts used and equipment condition.Communicate regularly and effectively with the Control Centre team.Support the creation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.Ensure PPE, tools and vehicles are kept to the highest standards.Help maintain a positive company reputation through strong communication and collaboration.Stay up to date with technical developments relevant to the role and turbine technology, and actively pursue personal development through training, mentoring and ongoing learning within the wind power sector.We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has strong fault-finding and analytical skills, and is motivated to help us drive progress towards a world powered by renewable energy.
