Summary


The Senior Assistant Technical Officer will carry out duties in a brand new state of the art Radiopharmacy.

These duties will include environmental monitoring, waste management, maintaining stock levels, cleaning of isolators and clean rooms in accordance with trust policy and procedures.

The post holder will assist with the aseptic preparation and dispensing of sterile diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, including blood labelling. They will assist with the day to day running of the Radiopharmacy participating in a variety of technical and clerical tasks involved in production, quality control and distribution of the radiopharmceuticals

We have 1 part time position 18.75 hours per week.

• To dispense aseptically prepared multi-dose vials of radiopharmaceuticals , under the supervision of Production Manager and/or Pharmacy Technicians
• Support manufacturing activities including assemble of items, disinfection procedures
• Complete routine laboratory work including cleaning, quality control testing
• Maintaining records and have them available for review and inspection
