National Service Engineer
Location: Nationwide (UK-wide travel)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role
Our client is a well-established UK company operating within a highly interesting and specialist sector. They are currently looking to recruit a National Service Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a nationwide role involving regular travel to customer sites across the UK to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
Important:
This role involves overnight stays and extensive travel. Please only apply if you are fully comfortable with staying away from home as required.
Key Responsibilities
Attending customer sites nationwide, including industrial factories and leisure centres
Carrying out routine, planned servicing and maintenance
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on a call-out basis
Liaising directly with customers and end users on site
Managing spare parts stock held within the company vehicle
Completing post-visit reports and service documentation
About You
Full UK driving licence
A plumbing, engineering, electrical, or mechanical qualification is desirable but not essential
Previous experience as a Service Engineer within the engineering sector, ideally with an electrical element
Experience in customer-facing, frontline service or installation roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a small team
Ideal Candidate
The ideal applicant will have experience in installation, servicing, or maintenance engineering, ideally with exposure to hydraulics, and be willing to work nationwide with regular overnight stays.
