Summary
2 day Nanny role in Houghton, Stockbridge, SO20
A family in Stockbridge are looking for a brilliant nanny to help care for their little boys aged 5, 3 and 5 months (at the time of starting) on a Tuesday and Thursday from 6.45am-7pm. The start date on this role is very flexible, as the family’s current nanny is happy to stay on until they have found the right person. Therefore the position could start as early as May, or as late as September.
The ideal candidate will be well experienced with these age groups, either from a childminding, nursery or nannying background. They are looking for a nanny who is fun, energetic, creative and playful. Someone who can provide a rich mix of activity ideas both indoors and outdoors in their garden. The older boys love playing outside, football, walks/exploring the countryside, rugby, tennis, cricket and arts and crafts. They naturally gravitate towards someone with a calm demeanour, and the family are relaxed/gentle in their approach.
Mum will return to work after maternity leave at the start of November, so the nanny will then be in sole charge of the three children. The nanny must be able to drive, ideally with their own car suitable for transporting children (2 isofix points needed). All fuel will be reimbursed. The eldest boys school is 3.5 miles away for drops offs and pick ups, the middle boy will start school in 2027.
Duties will include; School drop off and pick up for the eldest, planning fun and creative activities for the middle boy as well as sensory/age appropriate play for the baby, preparing meals, some batch cooking if time allows, keeping the home tidy after play, all nursery duties, incl. weaning, bottle prep, nappy care, bath and bed time. (Timings around existing routines will be shared). Ideally some very light housekeeping duties would be part of the role, i.e. unpacking food shopping deliveries, putting on clothes washing/folding and occasional bed linen changes for the children only. The family have a cleaner, however if additional hours were desired the family may consider offering these duties to the nanny on an additional half day.
We placed the family’s last nanny with them, and she would be more than happy to speak to the new nanny if they wish. This is a long term sole charge role, please apply ASAP to be considered.
