Summary
Act as main point of contact for all Agenda for Change users of the Trusts eRostering system. This will include: The creation and maintenance of user accounts and system passwords in linewith Trust policies. Adding new joiners, removing leavers, amending contracted hours and assigning postings as appropriate. General system housekeeping such as reviewing user accounts and postings forupdates. Provide e-Rostering advice and support to staff at all levels. Answering sometimes complex and/or sensitive queries while remaining professional Analyse data from the e-Rostering system alongside information from managers in order to respond to queries and identify issues, escalating these where appropriate. Create and supply up to date documentation to support staff in use of the e-Rostering system and associated products where required. Support the e-Rostering Manager in keeping the e-Rostering Trust intranet page up to date. Be responsible for the co-ordination, organisation and administration of training programmes as directed. Deliver effective basic training to new users of the system, ensuring that they are able to create, update, approve and finalise their rosters. Participate in delivery of refresher training or training as a result of system upgrades where required. Participate in the organisation and delivery of drop in training/information sessions, providing advice and support on a range of areas, for example troubleshooting issues and demonstrating new system features. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant Trust policies and procedures, as well as HR related protocols including the ability to interpret the complexities of policies and apply them to the e-Rostering system where appropriate. Contribute to disaster recovery plans for the system and undertake any required testing of such plans. Ensure that the Trust Roster Policy is applied within all departments, escalating any issues to the relevant manager. Record and document day to day maintenance, faults and performance issues and where possible take action to rectify theses or raise with external support desk, escalating issues to the e-Rostering Manager where required. Participate in quality assurance and audit programmes to optimise the potential of the system. In conjunction with stakeholders, identify any clinical or non-clinical risks associated with the e-Rostering system. Ensure that own knowledge and expertise in the use of e-Rostering and other software systems/packages is developed and maintained by attending appropriate training and putting skills into practice
