Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Chargehand to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be delivering Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services and ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.
You will be responsible for.
-Maintaining our clients' sites. Grass cutting, hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearance, litter picking, and spraying.
-Providing management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site hazards.
-Operating all vehicles, machinery and equipment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
-Undertaking training as and when required.
-Use our smart phone based operating system to report work activity.
-Responding quickly to requests for additional support
-Working strictly in accordance with Health and Safety instructions
-Complete Training and Tool box talks with operatives.
-Complete vehicle inspections and audits
-Willing to work in various weather conditions
-Work on various areas of the contract
-Motivate the teams and ensure work is delivered to the highest standard possible
-Assist with chemical inventories and chemical logs
-Complete any training deemed relevant to the role
-Ensure all operatives are working safely with adequate PPE
-Assist with documentation and supervision of the operatives on site
-Work with innovation and technology to drive improvements and efficiencies
-Attend meetings as and when requested.
-Stand in for Supervisors as and when required.
-In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined you may be required to perform other duties assigned and requested by your line manager

Essential
-A passion for working outdoors.
-Prepared to work in an agile and flexible working environment
-A good understanding of smartphone technology.
Desirable but not essential
-PA1 & PA6 spraying licence,
-Full driving licence (not required for all our roles).
