Axium Process is a leading provider of hygienic process solutions, specialising in membrane filtration systems, CIP systems, stainless-steel fabrication, and bespoke process design. We support customers across the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, dairy, and chemical sectors with innovative, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
Based at our 30,000 ft² manufacturing facility at Hendy Industrial Estate, Swansea, and employing over 68 people, Axium Process is an ambitious and expanding business with a clear objective: to become the number one provider in our market.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term workshop schedules using MRP systems
• Use MRP data to plan work orders based on material availability, capacity, and lead times
• Release and sequence work orders to the workshop floor
• Coordinate with production planning, purchasing, and stores to ensure materials are available
• Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and delays
• Analyse MRP outputs to identify shortages, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints
• Maintain accurate scheduling and production records in MRP system
• Communicate schedules, priorities, and changes to supervisors and directors
Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma or degree in Production Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Proven experience as a Workshop Scheduler, Production Planner, or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Sage 200 MRP/ERP system
• Solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, lead times, and capacity planning
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Preferred Experience
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering workshops
