Summary

We’re looking for someone who loves the outdoors and wants to share Surrey Hills’ wonderful countryside with others. This role is all about nature and people – connecting with them, inspiring them, and making sure they have the best day possible when they visit these special places.

Contract/duration: Permanent

Hours/working pattern: 15 hours per week. You’ll be expected to work weekends and Bank Holidays.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What it's like to work here
Surrey Hills is a spectacular location to work in and is busy with visitors in all seasons. You’ll work with a small Visitor Experience team to provide great service and respond to a broad range of operational challenges in the outdoors. You’ll work inclusively with a variety of positions, including local rangers, food and beverage, facilities, and volunteers.



You’ll report to the Senior Visitor Experience Manager for the Surrey Hills West portfolio and have peers at other properties.

What you'll be doing
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience.

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
