Daily duties may include:

  • Providing 1:1 mentoring and small group support
  • Helping pupils with SEMH, anxiety, trauma or attachment needs
  • Supporting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Acting as a consistent, trusted adult
  • Helping pupils develop resilience, communication and independence
  • Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and safeguarding teams
  • Reinforcing expectations, routines and emotional strategies
  • Encouraging positive choices and improved wellbeing
