The Home First Neighbourhood City Team is part ofthe Home First service in Oxfordshire County Council Adult Social Care.The Home First service has revolutionised the way OCC supports people with lived experience of hospital admission return home to receive the right level of care in the right environment at the right time.We are a highly collaborativereablement service that works in close partnership with Oxfordshire's NHS health trusts and many other partner agencies.

About the Role

A Practice Supervisor in the Home First Neighbourhood City Team will work as part of a leadership team with three other practice supervisors and the team manager. The PS will be responsible for line managing frontline workers (SW, OT, or Coordinators) in the team.The PS team is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day service objectives of the team are met according to service design, timescales, and relevant legislation.The role requires flexible working with some days working in the John Radcliffe hospital office on a rota-basis (usually 1 day in the office per week).

Relevant professional registration (SWE or HCPC/RCOT) is required, based on profession.

The Home First Neighbourhood City team needs a Practice Supervisor who is willing to work hard but who values asupportive,collaborativeenvironment. Our service is busy, but our people are friendly andcommittedto doing great things.We are looking for the right registered professional for the job and are willing to consider this post being filled by a social worker or an occupational therapist.This permanent post is a good opportunity for an experienced frontline SW or OT to step up into a supervisory role. It is also a chance for an existing PSSW or PSOT to see what a reablement service is all about.

Rewards and benefits

  • The PSSW will also receive an additional 5% pay enhancement as compensation for working on-call on a 7-day working rota.
  • Specific working days and hours to be mutuallyagreedafter appointment.
  • Note salary quoted is per FTE.
