About the Role
SRG are searching for a Talent Engagement Manager on a day-rate contract to support our GB Commercial business on a high‑impact, fast‑paced hiring programme for Project Orbit-the highest priority commercial project across all of Europe.
This role is critical to the success of our clients GB market, our clients largest and fastest-growing market in Europe, with annual turnover of £1.3bn and a target to reach £2bn by 2030. You will partner closely with GB senior leaders to attract, engage, and hire high-calibre, diverse commercial talent at pace.
You will be accountable for end-to-end hiring across our commercial population and play a key role in shaping our talent, I&D, and employer brand strategy during this project's go‑live phase.


Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Engagement & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior GB commercial leaders on talent, hiring strategy, and market insights.
  • Coach and influence leaders across a matrixed organisation, driving action, change, and diversity outcomes.
  • Represent GB talent priorities within Project Orbit, ensuring alignment with business goals and market growth strategy.

High-Volume Commercial Hiring

  • Deliver 95 hires in 4 months across three major hiring waves.
  • Manage high-volume end-to-end recruitment processes, including 500+ screening calls, candidate preparation, and interview scheduling.
  • Hire for junior-level commercial roles (Level 6 / 6B) including:
    • Field Sales
    • Junior Sales
    • Account Executives
    • Graduates (1-2 years' experience)

Assessment Centre Delivery

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and facilitation of large-scale assessment centres, with the first wave running in March.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pools to ensure consistent candidate flow.

Market & Business Alignment

  • Support the GB team within a rapidly evolving environment as Project Orbit goes live.
  • Contribute to enhanced market coverage through smarter tools, AI‑driven insights, and improved customer touchpoints.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive ownership and accountability across the hiring process.
  • Track, report, and leverage data insights to influence decision-making.
  • Partner with internal teams within a changing team structure (including transitions from FTC to permanent roles).


About You
You are a highly skilled, in-house talent acquisition professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, and complex environment. You bring strong judgement, resilience, and the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across a large market.
Essential Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in Talent Acquisition or Talent Engagement.
  • Proven experience delivering high-volume commercial hiring.
  • Strong background hiring sales or field-based roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a region.
  • Exceptional consultative skills and the confidence to advise and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in diversity-focused hiring, employer branding, and data-led decision making.

Highly Desirable Experience

  • FMCG, CPG, Retail, or Medical Sales hiring (big advantage).
  • Assessment centre design/delivery experience (big advantage).
  • Experience supporting transformation or large go‑live projects.
  • Comfort working in tech-enabled, AI-supported hiring environments.
