As an Assistant Cook with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the kitchen, playing a key role in supporting our catering operation.
You will assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
The Role
Work as part of a motivated and passionate kitchen team
Support food preparation and cooking to ensure meals are delivered to a high standard
Assist the department by covering key responsibilities in the absence of the line manager
Deliver the highest standard of customer care through quality food and service
Maintain a high standard of general hygiene, ensuring the kitchen and service areas remain clean and organised
Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe working environment
Work to deadlines, ensuring prompt and accurate service of meals
About You
Enthusiastic and positive approach to work
Catering or kitchen experience
Good understanding of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
Able to follow instructions confidently, while also using initiative when needed
Committed to putting the customer first and ensuring an exceptional dining experience
A determined team player who works well with others in a fast-paced environment
