Key Responsibilities of the IT Delivery Manager:
• Lead and support a team of Project Managers working across multiple, short-lived projects
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations to align scheduling, resources, and priorities
• Maintain clear project planning, documentation, and communication throughout the delivery process
• Oversee on-site quality control and health & safety compliance
• Conduct regular 1:1s and drive a positive, accountable team culture
• Monitor project performance using in-house software and present key statistics to the management team
• Build strong professional relationships with clients, resolving issues effectively and identifying commercial opportunities
• Escalate resource or performance concerns where needed
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and adherence to company policies
• This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll balance leadership, strategic planning, and operational delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven project management experience in structured cabling infrastructure
• NVQ or equivalent in Structured Cabling Installations
• Experience managing a busy team delivering multiple short-term projects
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Calm, methodical leadership style that inspires high performance
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Exceptional quality standards and a commitment to safe working practices
• Flexible attitude with willingness to travel
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• GCSEs (A*–C) in Maths and English
• Enhanced DBS Check
Desirable Qualifications
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification
• Business or Management qualification
• SSSTS Card
