Crynodeb

As a care Assistant, you will provide vital support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and offering meaningful companionship.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting clients with personal care tasks and daily routines
Develop and follow tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Assist clients with daily activities such as mobility, medication, and personal hygiene
Preparing nutritious meals and light household duties
Promoting clients' independence and wellbeing
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
Communicate effectively with clients, and team members to ensure quality care
Support clients in maintaining their independence and social engagement
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
Use driving skills responsibly when transporting clients or running errands
About you

Caring, patient, and respectful with a genuine desire to help others
Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential - full training will be provided
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
Previous experience in home care or related fields is preferred but not essential
Reliable, punctual, and respectful of client confidentiality
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
