KS1/2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026 with no planning required


This school provides a calm, well‑organised, and nurturing learning environment where pupils benefit from supportive staff, clear expectations, and engaging lessons. Leaders work collaboratively with teachers to ensure high standards, helping pupils feel safe, motivated, and confident in their learning. Pupils respond well to consistent routines and teaching that promotes curiosity, independence, and steady academic progress.

Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging KS1 and KS2 lessons using pre‑prepared planning
  • Support pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum skills
  • Maintain consistent classroom routines and promote positive behaviour
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
  • Provide clear verbal feedback to support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity across year groups
  • Support whole‑class, small‑group, and individual learning activities
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil well‑being

Ideal KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 or KS2
  • Confident delivering a range of primary curriculum subjects
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils of different abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Reliable, proactive, and reflective in approach
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
