Mixed Year 4/5 Primary Teacher
Humly is recruiting a Mixed Year 4/5 Primary Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term temporary basis.
This is a full-time role starting after February half-term and continuing for two terms until the end of the summer term. The role would suit a committed and resilient teacher who enjoys mixed-age teaching, thrives in a small-school environment, and is looking for a placement they can fully commit to long term.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a mixed Year 4/5 class
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and learning expectations
Assessing progress and adapting teaching to support pupil outcomes
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school priorities
Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in mixed-age classes
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
A proactive, hands-on approach to teaching and learning
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Commitment to a long-term placement and consistency for pupils
Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
